Michael
Mike was one of Top Hat’s most-veteran employees and, in January of 2012, he became the owner of the company. Although he got his start DJing in college, Mike began working for Top Hat in 1997, just a year after our incorporation. He continues to be a very popular DJ at weddings, company parties, and school dances.
Damon
Damon began his DJ career with Supersounds DJ company while still in high school. In 1996, he started Top Hat Entertainment with Scott and Daren. After DJing for several years, Damon moved to Jamaica to open two new Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville restaurants. He moved back to Vermont several years ago, became the owner of Nectar’s in Burlington, and returned to DJing for Top Hat. You can find Damon at many weddings throughout the summer months, especially in southern Vermont, as well as hosting many of our trivia nights (many in the Albany area, where he now resides).
Mark
Mark started his DJ career in 1982 with The Music Revue DJ Service, and worked there until he bought the company in 1986. Mark also worked for a time at Supersounds DJ company, both as a DJ and in an administrative role at their office. Mark joined Top Hat Entertainment in 2005, and currently works in our office while also DJing many of our events and weddings and even hosts some of our trivia events.
Tyler
Tyler joined Top Hat’s team with a great energy and excitement about DJing. While he can be found at many school dances, nightclub events, private parties and weddings, he also runs our popular Trivia presentation in local restaurants and colleges. He’s one of our most versatile DJs!
